Custom Adaptive Alterations

Work with our team 1-on-1 to adapt your favorite clothing to better fit your lifestyle and needs. Basic alterations start at just $25, with prepaid shipping included.

Closures

  • replace buttons with Velcro™, snaps, or magnets
  • replace buckles with magnetic buckles
  • replace small zipper-pulls with larger, functional options

Pockets

  • change pocket placement to a more accessible location
  • add custom pockets based on your unique needs (e.g. to hold medical devices, supplies, tubing)

Openings

  • widen or narrow openings like necklines, armholes, and ankle openings
  • add custom openings based on your unique needs (e.g. insert small openings for tubes and catheters, add shoulder or arm openings for CVC, PICC, and port access)

Hem Length Adjustment

  • basic hem shortening and lengthening
  • asymmetrical hem adjustments (accommodates limb-length differences, prosthetics, and AFOs)
